Don’t forget your gardens need a drink on hot days like these, in particular newly planted gardens. It’s best to water in the morning, before the heat of the day, and have the garden well mulched to reduce evaporation. Water the soil around the roots instead of the foliage. Watering once a week with Seasol or Charlie Carp will help the roots absorb nutrients more easily.
